The Austin Film Festival hosts the world premiere screening of "Pickpockets" at the State Theatre. The 110-minute Australian film follows a lone-wolf pickpocket and a charismatic rookie whose escalating rivalry pauses as they partner up for a major heist, only to have their plans unravel when emotions interfere. This juried festival selection features direction by D.C. Fairhurst and a cast including Lucy Green, Tim Minchin, and Zoe Terakes.
