Katie Pruitt is a Georgia-bred singer/songwriter/guitarist now based in Nashville. Her sophomore album Mantras explores gender identity, self-compassion, and finding peace amid uncertainty, building on the empathetic storytelling of her debut Expectations. Mainly produced by Collin Pastore and Jake Finch, the record features propulsive grooves, overdriven guitars, and autobiographical lyrics, with contributions from co-writers like Ruston Kelly and string arranger Laura Epling.
